Sometimes, you just have to do you. You just have to take a break from life and focus on you. It’s not selfish; it’s what you need. Accept that sometimes you need a break. It doesn’t make you weak.
I have not been spending enough time doing things for myself, but I am working on changing that. I took some time to write a list for myself:
Cooking
Painting
Reading
Napping
Dress well for the day
Look at fashion things
Relaxation dialog
Make lists
Go for a walk
Take a bath
Go to the gym
Watch a movie
Write (thoughts/feelings/poem-y things)
And I’m sure I can come up with more.

I haven’t been around in a longggg time. It’s been months. And that resulted in me going from 79 followers down to 50, so thanks to those of you who have stuck with me during my hiatus.
I’m really not in a good place right now, health wise. I feel like I can’t get back, but I know that I can with some hard work.
This is just a short “hi, I’m back!” post and I’ll make a proper update of major things later.
As for now, I’m headed out to the farmers’ market in a little bit to get some lovely food for myself!

Avocado Truffles
Good. God. Honestly have no words for this recipe. These photos are gorgeous and this looks incredibly delicious!! DEFINITELY making this as soon as possible.
The inside is filled with chopped mango and avocado with cilantro, black sesame seeds and lime juice. The avocado is then rolled in dried mango, black sesame seeds, pistachio, and freeze dried corn, peas, and red bell peppers.
